In Memoriam
My sweet quilting buddy Sigmund passed away in August. I've been so sad I can hardly stand it sometimes. I've gotten back in my quilting room a little, but still just doing superficial stuff. That's OK for now though - I'm sure I'll get "serious" some time soon. I miss his tail swishing dangerously close to the rotary cutter, and his totally wanting to just lay on whatever it is that I'm working on at the moment. I'm kind of hoping that blogging about it might get me over the not-blogging hump... not that I'm a stellar blogger anyway. Man I miss him.

I'm sorry to hear about Sigmund.
I don't know what I do without my dogs under feet all day.
so sorry to hear about Sigmund - how we miss our animal friends when they leave us. I hope you are feeling a bit better these days, and maybe you can find room in your heart for another cat one day, maybe one that needs a home as much as you need a furry friend.
My Simon (beagle) is old and sick and we are getting closer to the end. I steel myself every day for what will come next, but I know it won't make it any easier when the time comes.
